Alysha Addetia (she/her) is a renowned Canadian flautist, gaining prominence on the global music stage through her solo and ensemble performances. Most recently, she has recorded on the Toronto Tabla Ensemble's albums, To Begin With (2023), For the Love of Tabla (2022), and Unexpected Guests (2020) and performs as part of Compañía Maria Serrano Flamenco. Alysha's influence extends beyond her performances as she actively contributes to the Canadian music landscape as a member of the JUNO Awards Music Advisory Committee, promoting excellence in Canadian music. Alysha enjoys transcending cultural and geographical barriers, performing in a variety of engagements as the solo flautist in global-membered ensembles in France and Portugal. In addition to her artistic achievements, Alysha is a seasoned arts administrator, recognized for her impactful contributions to organizations such as Yo-Yo Ma's Silkroad Ensemble at Harvard University, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Nova Dance, and Orchestra Toronto.
